What are we actually living for? This question struck me when I was reading my cousin's blog yesterday.. And yes.. She had just celebrated her 21st birthday and there she goes, looking back at her past 21 years of life, embracing the happy moments and sighing on the unhappy ones. And this particular sentence makes me start to ponder...She said, " Every experiences made her see the world clearer. And she realise that relationships are just that vulnerable. All kinds of relationships in fact. And thats sad. Ultimately, what do one wants to achieve in life? And what can one brings with her after life? Maybe the most important thing is to make the people around her feel happy and thats an achievement.."I do not know if that is really correct. Which in fact, all these years, I have been trying to make the people around me happy but do I really get any sense of achievement? Maybe? Maybe not.. However, I believed that that shouldn't be the sole aim of life. Everything should come natural. When something is done on purpose, it loses its exact meaning. So whats so good of making others happy, when you yourself don't feel happy in the first place. So that was my reply to her post.Kinda getting abit more self-centred these days. Its more of knowing how to love oneself, when its then you know how to love others. However, I guessed no matter how "self-centred" I am, I still couldn't escape the destiny of being nice. Maybe its my inner character that shapes me to be like this. I was watching this drama serial the other day and I thought the character in it depicts part of my real life character. Haha.. thats pretty cool.. And it realli gives me the clear impression of why I am "born" to be nice. Will share it some other time..
