"Happiness is not a matter of events, it depends upon the tides of the mind."
Is that true? I thot it would most likely be dependant upon the tides of the heart. Alot of things that we felt doesn't have the time to be process by the brain and be computed to tell us whether we are happy or sad. Like what people always say, happiness comes from within, within the heart. If you truly feel happy, your heart will tell you that. If you feel sad, you heart will immediately give you the correct signals. So whats with the mind then?
The mind comes in to interpret the feeling and telly with you the signal that is coming from ya heart and gives you the confirmation of the right word to use. As to happy or sad.. however, of course the mind will start to recall on past experience and evaluate the incident to see if its happiness or sadness. But is that the most accurate one?
