"Addicted"

Watched "Addicted" on Sunday.. That korean show by Lee Bin Xian.. And had been wondering.. Is it true that one loves another mainly for the other's understanding, character, heart and love..? If that is true.. Then it seems correct when the female lead actor continues to love Lee Bin Xian even thoh he is not her lover.. Sounds confusing...?

Summary (forgot the name of the actors...)

David and John are brothers. And both have a galfren of their own. David is an extremist who likes car racing and John is more introvert and likes art and painting. One day, both brothers had car accident and were sent to the hospital. David wasn't injured too badly while John was pronounced brain dead after some time. And David starts to become another person when he woke up, proclaiming that he is JOHN..and starts to lead a life of john. Very soon, he went to live into John's hse and John's GF couldn't believed his story that John's soul is in David's body. But slowly, "David" overcome her disbeliefs with "their"(John and gf) memories and love and they were together. However, at the end of the show, it was said that all along David likes John's gf even before he does. And for him to have the chance to love her, he had to use John's identity and pretend that he is John when he woke up.

So now, come to my question... The gf proves the notion of love is for the heart and inner beauty and not for the looks only.. Thats why she feels that David is the john in her heart for the things he said.. However, if she really loves John so much, why can't she differentiate between John and David since both are of extremely two characters.. (thoh David realli did a great job in hidin his real self) So, does the Gf really knows who she is loving? *Ponder ponder PONDER...
